That belief is why Deborah and Jeremy Harris brought Direct Management into Grow Group. Direct Management was founded to serve bookkeeping clients. When we acquired the practice, we had seen what happens when owners are asked to make important decisions using information that is late, incomplete or simply not fit for purpose. The work may be getting done, but without proper checks, an owner can still be left wondering whether the figures tell the truth.
We set out to build something more useful: a bookkeeping team that takes responsibility for the quality of the information and helps clients put it to work.

Our bookkeepers work collaboratively under CFO leadership with real commercial experience, including supporting a business on its journey to a New York Stock Exchange listing. Senior bookkeepers, including people who have run their own practices, guide the work and carry out quality assurance reviews.
Developing bookkeepers bring energy and capacity, while our dashboarding and strategy specialists help clients see what the figures mean.
Reaching full potential
We use AI, cloud systems and connected processes to make work more efficient and help identify issues. We also train our team to question the output of those tools and use them well. Human judgement sits at the apex: experienced people remain involved in review, decisions and accountability.
For clients, this means there is more than one person who understands their books. You have people to call, questions can be answered, and the work can continue when someone is away. We particularly enjoy the deeper, ongoing relationships where we become part of how a business runs its finances.
